This position works with our Clinical Supervisor (LICSW) and team to provide clinical support to adults with mental illness in a residential setting.
This is a job designed for individuals wanting to further their clinical skills or obtain hours needed for licensure.

We're looking for an individual who can bring clinical experience and expertise to the team and has an ability to lead rehabilitative and recovery focused services, including groups and one-to-one support, diagnostic assessments, intakes, collaboration with family and other providers and referrals.
Responsibilities:
Assess needs, identify goals, and work with the clients and the team to plan services to meet the clients' needs; ensure assessments and services are documented in individual records so information is readily available to the rest of the team and so the results of services can be determined, and record keeping standards are met.
Assist with the intake/admit process, complete Diagnostic Assessments, Functional Assessments and provide clinical insight.
Create, plan and lead a variety of psychoeducational groups that are tailored to the clients' needs.
Provide flexible individualized supports that encourage and empower client to learn how to lead self-directed, independent lives.
Knowledgeable of the needs of people with mental illness and substance use disorders, including diagnosingSkills in human relations including the understanding of and respect for boundaries, values, and personal differences.
Provide crisis assessment and intervention to aid clients in learning and gaining what resources, support and assistance they may need when they transition back to the community to remain safe and stable.
Working as a team member and assist in the division of shared responsibility.
Quickly establish rapport and trust with adults with serious mental illness, demonstrate confidence in and promote the self-esteem of others, and demonstrate genuine compassion and respect for people.
Ability to Minimize vulnerabilities by assessing level of safety and finding less harmful situations for individuals.
Make clinical assessments and implement a variety of approaches in response to symptoms of mental illness and chemical health.

Must qualify as a Mental Health Professional:
A person licensed as a Mental Health Professional (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT)ORMust qualify as a Clinical TraineeA person with a Master's Degree from an accredited college or universityandOn a licensure track/pursuing licensure (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT)ANDMust be qualified as a Mental Health PractitionerBachelor's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or relatsed fields from an accredited college or universityplushas at least 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to people with mental illnessorhas at least 4,000 hours of experience in the delivery of services to persons with mental illnessPreferredExperience in residential level of careStrong engagement and assessment skills required.
